Beloveth, I want you to understand the power of our words and the consequences we bring upon ourselves when we don’t follow through with our promises we made unto the Lord. The enemy loves for us to make promises so he can cause us to break the very words we speak unto the Lord. Remember, the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He strives off our failure and hope we never stay committed to our stand for Christ. He knows once we stay committed to the faith we will begin to grow and become stronger against the attacks of the enemy and the Father will begin to reveal His plan for our lives. Many times things are not changing for us because we have not stayed the course toward decisions that will help us be more stable and sensitive toward God. Again beloveth, you can give special offerings and bless other ministries across the country but if you don’t live the life God is calling for no monies, prophets, holy oils, prayer clothes or just being in a good ministry will replace your commitment for living righteous before God and being an example before others. You must remember that there are no short cuts to right relationship with God. It’s time for us to walk in authority over the enemy and stop giving him the freedom to regulate our lives. It’s time for us to stand up and fight the good fight of faith, it’s time for a revolution – it’s time to overthrow the power of the enemy upon the lives of those who are held in captivity. It’s time to cause a dramatic change in the ideas and practices of the enemy’s will and diabolical tricks on our lives. Kirk Franklin said it best, (are we ready for a revolution), if not, every one of us still have the opportunity to suit up for the battle. I will stop here for now and resume on tomorrow’s devotional teaching, think about the promises we have made before God, now think about how many of those promises have turn into unfulfilled results because we didn’t fight hard enough to win the fulfilling battle. Somewhere down the road we allowed the enemy to distract us from finishing the work we had started with our confession. Now think about how you are going to fortify your foundation so the enemy doesn’t get an advantage over you again in your everyday walk with the Lord.
