Below is a link to a music composition contest being held by "your LDS music store," open to anyone, and there is no entry fee required. They are looking for original musical compositions in the following categories: (1) LDS SATB Choir, (2) Contemporary Christian and (3) Instrumental. There are various formats by which your original composition may be entered, all of which are listed under the link. "Your LDS Music Store" is a division of LDS Bookstore, neither of which are under ownership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so this is a fully private contest. Last date for entries is September 15, 2013. All prizes are monetary in nature, with three prizes levels accorded per category.
