Benami Chief Minister Mr. O.Paneerselvam seems to be scared of convening the assembly. Even during his last term as CM he refused to convene the assembly even once. With a host of problems facing Tamil Nadu, it is the duty of elected members to find solutions and address issues that affect the state. But Mr.0PS seems to have forgotten or is rather too frightened to admit he is the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Being at the mercy of the mannargudi clan, Mr. Paneerselvam like the rest of Tamil Nadu has to read the news paper every morning to see if he still remains the Chief Minister. His statements yesterday belittling my request to convene the assembly is an act of humiliating himself and the post he holds. His helplessness as a Benami Chief Minister can neither be condoned or pardoned. Mr. Paneerselvam, your duty is to serve the people of Tamil Nadu, your subservience to convicted criminals cannot be above that.
