Beneath the glitter, life brings real trials and tests. Not one person can escape this. Everyone is fighting a battle. A battle with an addiction, a battle with a disease, a battle with financial poverty, a battle to keep a family or a relationship together and even to the extreme; a battle to simply stay alive. More than often, we subject ourselves to condemnation and guilt when we fight what seems to be a losing battle. Immediately we start to believe we are weak and wave the white flag. The problem is not that you are weak. But it’s that you think you are strong. I have fought and still am fighting many of these battles and I have come to realize that when facing these giants, it is crucial to surround yourself with people whom will speak life into your situation. I owe this gratitude to my friends, family and loved ones. Ultimately, more than anything else; your weakness should drive you to God. Believing that he loves and cares for you will not just build your spirit to press on but catapult you beyond your battles. You got to believe the best has yet to come.
