Best as I can tell, Charlie volunteered a lesson to his kindergarten class this morning on the, ahem, ulterior motives and colonizing actions of Christopher Columbus that was then repeated, at the request of his teacher, to the principal later in the afternoon, and which may or may not have involved an illustration of O Columbus and his conquering men cutting off the hands of any Arawak people who failed to produce a sufficient amount of gold. #childrenofhistorians
