Best part of my day: I have been incorporating music/ instruments into my morning and afternoon group time with the kiddos in my classroom. Today they learned the song Ive been working on the railroad (well my version of the song w/ bongos and additional vocals coming from yours truly). At one point my sweet girl Kali was shaking her shaker and was on point with the rhythm/ beat of the bongo (duch a proud moment for Ms. Lexi!). She immediately made eye contact with me and we both had the biggest smile; such a strong bond/ connection I shared with her in just a flash of a moment. What I realized is that its those small moments that bring so much joy and meaning; its as if Im looking through Gods eyes- being reminded of how delicate and precious life is. We are all surrounded wirh love and light....but its up to the individual to reach out and want that light. Life is too short to dwell in negativity and sorrow... A smile on your face puts a smile on your heart. Be free to be thankful and live your life with love no matter what the circumstances are....and that my dear friends is the purity of freedom.
