Better late than never: BEST OF THE POLICE BLOTTER 2013 by The Union staff: Jan. 4 - 8:20 a.m. A caller from the 15000 block of Ballantree Lane reported five to six cows on the property attempting to destroy a pool. Jan. 11 7:57 p.m. A woman from the 12000 block of Highway 49 reported a neighbor threatened to kill her husband because he was spraying for weeds and the herbicide was getting on the suspects marijuana plants. Jan. 18 7:15 p.m. A caller near the 11100 block of Magnolia Road reported a truck with its tailgate down peeling out in circles in the parking lot. The driver reportedly lost a riding lawn mower out the back of the truck in the process. Jan. 22 3:44 a.am A man from the 1800 block of Cozy Grove Court reported four or five people demanding entry to his house; he said he had armed himself with a shotgun. He said they were outside running around and pounding on the ground. The mans wife said he might have had a dream. Feb. 5 9:55 p.m. A woman from the 100 black of East Berryhill Drive wanted an officer to make her husband give her the remote control. She was heavily medicated. March 7 11:29 a.m. A caller from Nimrod Street requested a welfare check on a boy who was sitting on the curb, staring at the sky with his mouth open. April 1 3:43 p.m. A caller from Highway 49 and Brunswick Road reported a panhandler dressed in camo who looks like Lurch from the TV show. April 1 2:40 p.m. A caller from New Mohawk Road reported that a juvenile runaway had been at a party last night, was given a roofie and had a rabbits foot tattooed on his genitalia. He said he was at a residence in Grass Valley, was given a soda and woke up to find a tattoo on his thigh near his personal parts. The tattoo was fading.
