Between October 17 and November 3rd, 2014, members of the Organization of Arab Students folded 2000 white paper cranes for Syria. Each white crane symbolized 100 innocent lives taken by the Assad regime. The cranes were secured onto a net to be hung in the Student Union. The purpose of this project was to help students visualize the humanitarian disaster. The cranes symbolized the pure and innocent souls flying away.
