Between PDP Chief Bar. Nyesom Wike and APC Dakuku Peterside - Christians beware: “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.” (Luke 11:33-36 NKJV). In the political turf, cultism accusation and counter accusation is going on between Dakuku Peterside and Nyesom Wike. If both are cultist or were cultist at sometime does it make any difference? We in the Christian Community in Rivers State may be face with likely situation in 1999 when Dr. Peter Odili and Chief Ebenezer Isokrari contested the gubernatorial race. The Christian Community in Rivers State threw their weight behind Dr. Peter Odili against Chief Ebenezer Isokrari because Dr. Odili was lesser evil. They both were in different cults. Dr. Odili was receptive and amenable to Christian values and goal than Chief Isokrari. We invited Dr. Odili and he submitted himself to Rivers State Christian Elders Forum who prayed and anointed him in secret at Civic centre chamber before we made public statement in the media before election. I wrote and signed invitation to Dr. Odili as Public Coordinator of the Forum. And I was close to Chief Ebenezer Isokrari. Now Christians in Rivers State are faced or will face same situation if PDP erroneously give gubernatorial candidacy to Chief Nyesom Wike. Which will be enthronement of injustice and inequalities out of order of zoning entrenched in PDP constitution. Bishop Yomi Isijola of Logos Ministries sometime ago taught that a sinner in the Church is better than a sinner in the world. How? A sinner in the Church is more amenable and receptive to Gods word than a sinner in the world. Dakuku Peterside even if may have been involved in cultism in the past, l know him to have been involved in my former church, Church of God Mission and he is now involved in my present Church, Salvation Ministries. I know Chief Nyesom Wike as his father is a friend and colleague in Ministry work. Am closed to the father to extent that l brought white American missionaries to minister in his father Church in 1992. I know Chief Nyesom Wike history not of Christian values but one consistent in his commitment deep in anti Christian values. Chief Nyesom Wike is now only going to Churches and Pastors to get support. I never at any time saw him in his fathers Church. I say this benefit of hindsight because l was formerly involve secret societies before my conversion including Ogboni. So, if PDP inspite zoning field Chief Nyesom Wike as their gubernatorial candidate, the Christian Community will do what they did in 1999. Political Parties and persons who take the Christian Community, the Church of a Jesus Christ and Ministers, custodians of the Word of God will never rule Rivers State no matter popularity and money politicking. Is the light in any of these aspirants in darkness? Christian beware! Have winning, wealthy and wonderful day ahead. You are blessed for life Ps. 69:18 Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! (Psalms 68:19 NKJV).
