Beverley Races Ladies Day: traffic system will be in place for departing traffic after 1600hrs. From 1600hrs York Road (the main road outside the racecourse) will become one way only, and all departing traffic must turn towards the Dog Kennel Lane roundabout and the A1079, away from Beverley. There’ll be lots of signs and hopefully this should help ease congestion. We ask all racegoers to use the designated exits from the car-parks, especially on the Westwood. Exiting over the rear of the Westwood is actually unlawful, and the Police can fine you as a byelaw is in place to forbid this!
