Beware of swindlers, NSCDC warns job seekers The Commandant, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Aminu Abdullahi Kofarsoro , has warned residents especially job seekers to stop being victims of job swindlers, who parade themselves as agents of highly placed officers of the Corps. He said that the Corps is not currently engaged in any form of recruitment exercise in the Territory. According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Akinbinu David, at the weekend, the commandant emphasized that the public will be notified through publication in the national dailies whenever the Corps intend to recruit. He therefore warned those impersonating the Corps and extorting money from unsuspecting job seekers to desist from the act, stating that the corps has set up their affairs on a lookout for such people and when caught, they will be brought to book.
