Confession #104 (continuation of confession no 90‚91) Dear friends‚ Advance Christmas greetings! The long awaited Christmas is just around the corner.Let the sound of jingle bell echo deep into the woods.Let every lips sing and every hips move to the eternal melody of Boney M.Let us all be happy and glad...but also remember the true essence of Christmas-Spreading Love. The very mention of Christmas is enough to give me this rush of unfamiliar ecstacy throughout my body and suddenly all the good old memories flashback sequentially gladdening my heart to the brim. God!! How i wish to be that little boy again‚ going to church and completely awed by its Christmas decoration‚ clinging on tightly to my moms thumb.....totally excited that i wore a new jacket(he he)‚ persistent on staying after the service to watch those silly play-acts and dramas. I still vividly remember that blue sneaker(its glows seriously haha) my dad bought me for Christmas when I was 11. I would be boastfully displaying it almost everywhere and to everyone... perhaps my source of utter pride then.Then comes the New Years eve‚ which for me was all about those delicious cookies my mom would prepare for the night.I would be so excited...keep laughing...running until Im all exhausted and my mom would finally tuck me and brother to sleep(good ridance at last).Well‚ even before I knew it‚ I had unconsciously contributed so much to the existence of love in my family I believe. Guys....dont you think that the word Love today is underestimated and confined to the realm of only lovers i.e. romantic love. But that is just one kind of love‚ isnt it? What about our love for our parents and the bonds we share with our kin? What about love as a human feeling or maybe for Life itself. In our hectic schedules and rush to attain mortal possessions of the world‚ we often dont have enough time to adore intricate small wonders that life has to offer and completely fail to acknowledge and appreciate people that matters the Most. Friends.....this Christmas lets take time to resurrect that lost childhood in us once again.Let us be patient‚ compassionate upon our siblings‚ wrinkled parents who were once our only superheroes.Let us for once show our gratitude and affection and be the reason for the immeasurable smiles on their face. Love is such that we by ourselves are not aware of its capabilities.This Christmas month‚ let it begin with your family and gradually widen it by sharing the feeling with friends‚ at work‚ in the neighbourhood and even further. Wish you a very happy time feeling‚ celebrating and spreading Love.
