Beyond Limit Weekly Desk: Wale Olulana 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, … laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. (Luke 2:7) Royalty In Unusual Places- 3 of 3 series- Person: It takes no special skill to spot Kings in their palaces, they are often adorned with apparels of worth. The world system is based on “like attracts like”. Friends, the birth of Jesus, was the opening of doorway for ‘outsiders’ to make it to the royal table, it sparked the spread of royalty in unusual places, sinners could finally become saints. On this day of Christmas, as merriments spread around, in a wide variety of parties, gatherings and celebrations, the most important question is, will Jesus, the Person who is reason for the season be offered a room at your dinner table? The US President has an official specially built aircraft known as Airforce1, it comes with heavy security protocols landed or airborne. However, if under any unlikely event, the President has to be swapped to travel in any other very low grade ordinary aircraft, ideally, that new aircraft temporarily resumes the status Airforce 1 with all the associating protocols. Similarly, it is the manifest presence of God in a place, person or people, no matter how high or low that transforms such into Royals, children of Most High (Jn 1:12). On the eve of Jesus’s birth in Bethlehem, important men were too busy, because He came with no calling card or physical Royal flag. The most important person ever who could have checked into that Inn, came by, but the owners had no room for him. How many times have we not missed or overlooked the very clues to our search? Good news is, not far from the Inn, tucked into a little corner, there was a smelly, poorly lit and cold manger. The owners were compassionate, caring and connected in their heart to the prophetic destiny of Israel. God chose them as the place to birth His glory on earth. Embrace these qualities today. Jesus came to the least, the last , the lowest and the lost . God’s best gifts are always given to the unassuming, modest, courteous and the gracious. Are you? Friend, my prayer today is that you will not miss the day of your visitation, you will not overlook the divine answer to your waiting, will not miss your purpose of existence and above all, that Jesus’s presence manifest at your gathering today no matter the dinner plate/paper quality nor place you eat from and people you eat with. Amen. #WaleOlulana_beyondLimitsweekly#
