Beyond disgusted with the decision to not indict Officer Wilson. Police brutality, overuse of force, and prejudice in how officers handle situations with minorities is undeniable. The case of Mike Brown was an opportunity to make traction, to make a change, to set an example, but more than anything, bring well deserved justice to the family of mike brown and every other person who has experienced such injustice. My heart aches as this man walks free. An innocent boy was murdered. That is undeniable. I PLEA WITH ALL OF YOU, do not let this name die. Do not let this movement die. Do not let justice die. I acknowledge my amazing privilege in being a white middle class woman, but despite that, alone my voice will not be heard. WE CAN NEVER CHANGE THIS SICKENING REALITY IF WE DO NOT SPEAK TOGETHER. This is not a black epidemic. Not a minority epidemic. THIS IS AN AMERICAN EPIDEMIC. I ask for you to use your voice to support the side of justice. All lives matter.
