Bharat Mata ki Jai! Vande Mataram! Valzha Bharatham! Friends today is Indias Birthday.... A day which gave us identity and rights 68 years ago.... First let me wish you on this day with the Greetings of the Spirit of Freedom! Today it will be good for us to remember the two aspects of a democracy.... RIGHTS & DUTIES! In a free country we tend to think, practice and recall the rights that we have very often, but forget that duties is the other side of the coin.... It only works if we do our duties. It is our right to expect the roads to be clean but it is our duty to not add to the garbage, it is our right to expect constant electricity but we also need to conserve.... And so on.... In a modern globalised world we tend to forget that the Indian Democracy, economy and culture is and has to be different... We need to learn and adopt from other cultures and nations, but we need to remember that we have to build this country into a fair, equitable, progressive nation for all.... And as the Mahatma said, there is enough resources for ones need but not for ones greed.... Let us enjoy today the spirit of freedom, remember the Heros and Heroines who got us this nation and lastly pledge to do our duty to build our Nation! JAI HIND!
