Bible Highlights Number 33-36 Num 33:52 – It is always good to imagine what the high places looked like and the types of practices that were performed there. In this way we can see the justification for their destruction. What were they like? Were all the people who were devoted to destruction bad? What does this teach us for today? We are reminded again that the tribe of Levi were to have no inheritance. ‘Jehovah was their share’. It was their privilege to serve Jehovah full time. In what various ways can we imitate their example? (w11 9/15 p. 7-10) Num 35:9-29 – A person accidentally causing the death of another had to flee to the city of refuge. What does this teach us? (w04 8/1 p. 27 par. 5; w06 9/15 p. 30) Num 35:20-24 – How were the Israelites to prevent the cities of refuge from becoming a hiding place for criminals? Num 35:33 – What does this verse indicate about our lives in the new order? (w04 8/1 p. 27 par. 6)
