Pray for Church and Lives (3 minutes) During August we are discovering what our relationships within the church family need to look like. We are creating a pattern by studying how God relates to us. Pray that our love for each other would abound. As God reveals himself in love to us, we should be sharing that love with those around us. Pray we would be loving toward each other even when we have to say the hard things. Pray all we say and do be tempered in the Love of Christ Pray this week for the I-58 Benevolence Team. I58 is based off of Isaiah 58:5-9. FHBC has a faithful team of volunteers who live out this passage by distributing clothing, food and other resources to the needy in our community. Pray for them this week as they prepare for the Great Clothes Giveway for School this Friday, August 15th. Pray that God would speak through their words and actions to share the gospel of Jesus and that many in our community would come to Jesus through their faithfulness. Who can you ask? 4theMISSION: mF2 – As the new school year starts it will be essential for FHBC to live out our faith in each of our neighborhoods. Pray that each family of FHBC would host some gathering of their community in their home this Fall. Country: Mayotte - The three evangelical churches in Mayotte need a greater degree of unity and cooperation, although there are signs of improvement in these areas. Pray for an approach to evangelism that is culturally appropriate yet effective, and pray for a great emphasis on discipling converts. Ø Pray for Lighty Pierre, daughter of Haiti partner Jerome Pierre, who has severe heart illness Ø Pray for Danny Stephens, brother of David Stephens, as he is in need of a kidney transplant but might have cancer. Ø Pray for Brandy Chavis as she is in need of a kidney transplant. Ø Pray for Edna Hinote and family as her health is rapidly deteriorating (Edna is currently under hospice care) Ø Pray for Diane Murphy who was recently diagnosed with cancer (Phil)
