Bifurcated market conditions prevail. Pockets of strong demand for waste oils despite recent downtrend in soybean oil prices. Spreads between virgin plant oil, animal fat, DCO, and UCO are EXTREMELY tight by historical margins. Market seems to be behaving erratically for a number of reasons including: uncertain domestic policy, new EU trade rules, RIN uncertainty, weather, fuel demand. The "new normal" seems to be uncertainty.
