Big Cat TRAFFIC ALERT: From the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet ***I65 Emergency Repairs*** Interstate 65 southbound near Mile Point 82 in Hardin County is reduced to one lane. The right lane is blocked until base failure repairs can be completed. Keep left. There are three repair locations between exit 86 at Glendale and exit 81 at Sonora. Signage is posted well ahead of the work area. Use exit 86 to US 31W south as an alternate route to rejoin I65 at exit 81. Weather conditions are less than ideal for pavement work. Surfaces are more slippery and visibilities are reduced because of rain, fog and traffic spray. Motorists should use additional caution in the construction zone and allow additional space between vehicle intervals. Please be patient as contract crews make these necessary repairs. Closure of the right lane is expected to last into this evening. Updates will be released as needed until repairs are complete.
