Big Picture: A fond farewell to Gracepoint As the last of the white film trucks leave Victoria, an executive on the Gracepoint TV series says big productions are “a bit like being pregnant.” “You don’t remember the pain,” said Leslie Belzberg, senior vice-president for scripted production with Shine America. “[Producer] Anya Epstein and I were sitting on set saying: ‘Oh my God, we were just talking about doing this show, and now it’s over,’ ” Belzberg said. Crew members who’ve been putting in up to 14-hour days will certainly remember every one of the four months since Fox network’s 10-episode U.S. remake of the British crime series Broadchurch began shooting here.
