Big THANK YOU goes to Catherine Mc Bennett (The Niamh Louise Foundation) and Aine Wallace (Dare to Stretch) who delivered the ASSIST Suicide Intervention training this weekend, they made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed. The training came abt bcos of funding through the Community Pharmacy Partnership and we hope to run more courses in the future. Thank you to Slims for the delicious food and to all the lovely participants for taking part. Training like this skills up people within the community to recognise when a person may need help which will ensure people get help at a much earlier stage which greatly benefits recovery time. The committee are all Access NI checked, have their Mental Health First Aid and their ASSIST Suicide Intervention and we follow strict child protection and ethical practice policies.
