OK, Ive watched it and I think it is a very good speech. I have long held the view that womens rights are a mens issue and Ms Watson is right to point to the fact that gender role stereotyping enslaves men as well as women. One point on which I would take issue is simply the constant use of the word Feminist. Whether the speaker likes it or not, I am afraid that this term has become associated with misandry and is therefore somewhat divisive at the outset. I suspect it is for that reason that many women are seeking to distance themselves from the label. That said, I believe that we are all equal in the sight of God and therefore the struggle for gender equality is a just cause, which Ms Watson articulates very well.
