Big announcement! With the news of Joey Shaddays return, one deserves an explanation of why Ben Hill has left the group..... First and foremost wed like to say we love Ben and we consider him to be one of our best brothers and a most excellent drummer. With that being said, Bound has plans to play out on the road more often than before and is already booking surrounding states. Ben and his wife are expecting a baby soon (congrats!) and the lifestyle of the road just isnt practical for a new father. Alas! Ben is still a part of Bound! How? You ask.... Much like Tommy Ramone, Ben will be behind the scenes as a recording engineer and producer for the band! He has demonstrated that he is an exceptional recording engineer as well as a drummer. More importantly, he loves the music and is more than familiar with the songs/what the band is going to accomplish with the recordings. Ben and Joey have worked together already on songs and get along great. We couldnt be more blessed to have the level of cooperation between the two. Whats next? Tonight we begin recording with Ben and Joey on drum tracks. This is a joint effort with the both of them towards a Bound LP to be released towards the end of the 2014 summer/fall. Also Bound is currently in negotiations with Last of the Scars for management and booking for the road. Thank you We cant wait to see you all June 14th at the Downtown Lounge when Bound will be opening for HONKY!
