Big betting on poll results In Hyderabad the results of Yakutpura, Nampally, Jubilee Hills and few other constituencies are a subject of intense speculation and betting organizers tend to cash this excitement. With polling in Seemandhra and Telangana concluding and mandate sealed in the EVMs, there is excitement across the state. With counting and results slated for May 16, the time gap is being looked upon as an opportunity to make money by punters. Huge betting is going on across the state on the political fortunes of renowned leaders, parties and their respective constituencies. Which party will form the government, how many seats it will get, whether it is going to be 92 or 108 or 126 these are the clinchers for bets? Sometimes, there seems to be no logic for the betting’s. But it is heard that the betters in Seemandhra have come to a conclusion that none of the parties will get 130 seats and they have set 90 as the cut-off mark. With West Godavari being reckoned as a punters’ paradise, it is learnt that close to Rs. 150-200 crores betting is been going on over which party is going to form the government in Seemandhra. Rayalaseema is not far behind in betting either. Number of seats to be won by respective parties, which party will come to power, majority to be garnered by Jagan and chandrababu Naidu in Pulivendula and Kuppam, winning chances of Balayya in Hindupur and his majority: these are the things betters are eyeing to make money. Betting is going on in full swing in Telangana as well. Apart from bets on who would form the first-ever government, winning prospects of TPCC chief Ponnala in Janagam, Harish Rao’s majority in Siddipet and KCR’s winning prospects in Gajwel and Vijayashanti’s chances in Medak are the things money has been bet on. With counting and results another week away from now, it is said that the betting will only pick up more pace with each passing day.
