Big eyes is Tim Burtons new film. its the true story of a female artist who marries a man who ends up taking credit for her paintings. After 10 years of lying and working in her husbands shadow she tells the truth taking her husband to court and sueing him for copyright infringement. The trailer does a really good job of setting up this interesting dynamic between Amy Adams and Christopher waltz. In the film I felt like that dynamic fell a little short and it got old kinda fast. This movie kinda just chugged a long at a slow pace. It felt like a series of even and screenshot smashed together. It wasnt a bad movie, but I didnt leave the theater thinking it was memorable or worthy of having discussion about. I wouldnt want to pay money to see this. I think If I had to, I would give it a lot lower score if I had to pay money to watch it. Tim Burton has put out way bigger pieces of garbage. Im gonna give Big Eyes a 5 out of 10. Dont rush out to the movies to see this. when it comes out to rent, I could see this being a good date movie or something just to pass the time. youtu.be/2xD9uTlh5hI
