Bike etiquette 101. I love seeing people out riding their bikes, I must have seen about 20 folks riding this evening. As a PE teacher, that makes me feel good, our message is getting through. My problem is few people understand the rules of the road. You ride WITH the FLOW of TRAFFIC, NOT AGAINST IT! Especially in the BIKE LANES. I get no joy of playing "CHICKEN" with leisurely riders. I know I am very intimidating barreling down upon you at a 15 mph clip, likewise you are intimidating to me trying to guess which side of the road you are going to take after wobbling all over the place. So remember, "GO WITH THE FLOW" and when you pass someone, call out to them, "ON YOUR LEFT". Safe biking to all!
