Science depends on falsification, if no one is attempting to falsify the big bang then it is not a scientific construct, the charge of religious fanaticism is usually made by religious fanatics against other religious fanatics so it would appear belief in the big bang is a required religious faith. Einstein eliminated the idea that there is motion relative to space, it has become heretical to contest this notion. By way of example if oneself and another person are approaching one another in empty space (imagine no stars)how do we know who is moving and who isn’t or by how much each is moving or not moving, well we can’t know without a third reference,absolute space which does not move by definition. Einsteins answer was that nether observer is moving, to each observer they are NOT moving while the other observer IS moving so there is no absolute frame of reference which would have to be absolute space, the thing Einstien removed. One formulation of absolute space was the aether which has long been assumed vanquished, but the michelson morley experiment also (like the red shift) depended on a particular interpretation of lights expected behavior that was wrong, the null result was certain given the design of the experiment.Other generally ignored Physicists such as James Paul Wesley have designed experiments which do measure the a velocity of the closed laboratory with reference to absolute space. The great attractor and the great void which so confound the big bang hypothesis could really be the movement of the earth with respect to absolute space, when we look out the front of the moving car the snow expands outward from a point (the void) and when we look out the back the snow closes inward to a point (the attractor) of this is true we are seeing the motion of the EARTH, these stars are not actually moving the way we see them move just as in a car the snow is not really moving as we see it move, we would have no way to explain the motion of the snow if we thought the car immobile. Disallowing attempted falsification of the big bang means physics has become a faith not a science with billions in funding, careers and prestige all contingent on belief. Refuting evidence such as no source of energy for the presumed behavior as well as galaxies that spin far to fast to hold together are actually turned into supporting evidence with catchy phrases, “dark energy” and “dark matter”, this is a sure sign of a religion, “the Lord works in mysterious ways” is used to nullify objections to religion, that also work for physics “the big bang works in ‘mysterious” (dark) ways” When we are reduced to dark evidence science is no longer in evidence. https://youtube/watch?v=hBW4S9xcTOk
