Birth Roots could use your help! I am sharing the following note from their page: Dear Community, we are so grateful for the extra support that our alumni and networks have generously given these past few weeks. Emily is now blissfully home with her new daughter, Leah as been painting/remodeling and is finally able to unpack, and Jodis dad is on the other side of transplant and beginning a new routine in Boston. Through the fall and the end of the year wed be so grateful for your time if you have an hour here or there to help keep the Center running smoothly . Here are a few of the things were hoping will appeal to you. • coverage for The Nest Drop-in at Birth Roots Portland on days when its easy for your schedule. Making certain there is someone to welcome new folks to our space. • taking the recycling out and bottles to Clynk • cleaning/tidying on the inside • raking/shoveling/tidying on the outside • watering plants • bringing flowers in • bringing tea in • help winterizing - plastic on windows and/or sealing the office • replacing carpet in the entryway Please let us know what your schedule allows and when its easiest for you to pop in. Weve put some of these on to Volunteer Spot already. Others well add at times that are best for you.
