Bishop Charles Scicluna of Malta apologizes to gay and lesbians. Bishop Sciluna who is known for words such as, “gays can’t love, they just know lust,” & “gays are intrinsically evil,” apologized in a live interview this weekend admitting he was wrong. If you think for a minute that our “message in a bottle campaign,” is not working…think again! Who am I to have had the Pope read my letter? I answer….no one and that’s what is so powerful. Its individuals being vulnerable and open and taking a chance with their emotions to help others that will come after us. These people, you me we make the difference. Please don’t take advantage of this progress and become numb to the success of people understanding its just love! Write your story; send it out, release your experiences to smoothe the path for the young gay and lesbian Christians to come. Don’t sit back and soak up the progress, but rather jump in and carry it a bit further. Get involved, be love, tell your story, live authentic. This is not a dress rehearsal called “LIFE” dreaming of making a difference is not as satisfying and living the difference through your own eyes.
