Bismillaahi was-salaatu was-salaamu allaa rasuulillaahi sallallaahu alayhi was-sallam. Amma baad... Its been a day since the end of the iftaar for the homeless event and what else can we say but Alhamdullilaah all praise and thanks are to Allaah subhanahu wa taaala alone! Many thanks are in order for the large group of people - including the dawah team, the brothers and the sisters who took time out of their personal lives and dedicated hours of volunteering and meetings to make the event as successful as it was yesterday. Although the number of people who came wasnt the largest of numbers...but for a first time it was great - escaping the obvious disappointment of not having any guests at all! May Allah azza wajjal reward you all immensely for all that you have done for the masjid and for others within the masjid.. The prophet sallalaahu alayhi was-sallam said Love for your brother what you love for your self.. May the Almighty, the Most Great unite us all in the highest of the heavens amongst the anbiya and the saaliheen. Allaahuma ameen!! On behalf of the Al-Furqan Sisters Committee
