Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar- Raheem Virtues and Sunnah of Jummah (Friday ) 1) "During FRIDAY, there is a time when a Muslim slave stand and pray and then ask Allah for something, but He will surely give it to him," and he describe with his hand to indicate how short that time is ( Bukhari 935, Muslim 852 ) 2) if u walk to the Masjid (mosque), for everystep there is a reward of a year Nafl and Fast ( Tirmidhi) 3) The Holy Prophet was reported to have said : " Recite Durood/ Salawat upon me in abundance on the day of Jummah, since they are presented to me." ( ibn Majah) 4) Narrated aws ibn aws, who reported that the Prophet said: " Among the most excellent of your days is Friday; on it Adam (a.s.w) was created, on it he died, on it the last trumpet will be blown, and on it the Shout will be made, so invoke more blessings on me that day, for your blessings will be submitted to me. The people asked : Apostle of Allah, how can it be that our blessings will be submitted to you while your body is decayed ? He replied : Allah, the Exalted,has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of Prophet. " (Abu Dawud book 3, hadith no 1042) 5) There is no Muslim who dies during the day of Friday or the night of friday but Allah will protect him from the trial of the grave (Tirmidhi 1074 ) 6) Recite Surat Kahf, because the prophet said :"Whoever recites Surat Kahf on friday, Allah will give him a light to the next friday "( Al Hakim 2/399, Bayhaqi 3/249 ) 7) whoever pray Jummah prayer after listening attentively to the Sermon,his sins between that timeand the next friday wouldbe forgiven, and even of three days more. Let us try and get the highest reward and the most benefit of this friday. May Allah make it easy for us, ameen !
