Bit stuck... My pony was diagnosed with lami...shes never had it before. Didnt think she would ever get it, as Ive always been so careful. She was on restricted grazing, fed a small amount of happy hoof, had mainly a straw net in her stable and is exercised 5 times a week. Shes not that over weight at all, but has a condition score of 3.5 farrier checked her feet and done the pinch thing, and wasnt bothered in the slightest, so bit confused... Anyway to cut a long story short, she is on box rest for two weeks with a course of bute. My problem is that she isnt taking the bute, Im popping to vets after work to get a syringe and going to try that. Not sure if that will work as shes a nightmare with worming. Ive tried in her food, and in Marmite sandwiches which she loves, but has worked out that it has bute in it, and isnt eating it now. Does anyone else have any ideas?? X
