If I may: Let’s be fair to Justice Thomas. While it’s true he - TopicsExpress

If I may: Let’s be fair to Justice Thomas. While it’s true he was once a corporate hustler, you might say, representing the interests of Monsanto in years past, his current rulings in favor of the Company are innocuous, predictable and perfectly aboveboard given his conservative persuasion; conservatism being inherently partial to business interests at its ideological core. I only stepped in to defend Mr. Thomas to allay fears that he’s corrupt. Not really. There’s no immediate judgment. Justice Thomas, once more, is a conservative who of course would vote with corporate interests because that’s where the conservative movement’s priorities historically have been. The left is guilty of what’s being lobbed at Clarence Thomas, too. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an ACLU boss and once admitted that her prior work for the organization would have disqualified her in the current acrid climate. Elena Kagan was even asked to recuse herself in deciding the fate of ObamaCare because of her prior commitment to defending the Obama administration’s legal position before the Court as solicitor general. The solicitor general is the person who stands before the Court and argue the Government’s—the administration—position. President Obama chose to pad ObamaCare’s chances by appointing Mrs. Kagan to the Court despite this. So, Justice Thomas is cool. We disagree, obviously, because he’s a conservative traditionalist and we’re dope-smoking liberal activists, but he’s not corrupt. He’s an honorable man. He’s old-fashioned. He’s one of Coretta King’s sons. He’s a black man—not an Allen West or Kasim Reed, but that’s a conversation for another time. #Illuminati
