Bittersweet Day 1 of this week: Happy birthday to my sweet loving talented beautiful and amazing daughter!! 23 years ago today I was blessed with the arrival of my daughter!! Today, on our nonexistent budget and no daddy around, we were able to spend the day at Fort DeSoto paddle boarding, jumping waves reminiscent of the ocean more than the gulf today, making mermaids, collecting shells and sunning. We then returned to a gourmet meal prepared by my equally amazing son Cal Olivier and his girlfriend Hannah Davis. Steak with bernaise over mashed potatoes with shrimp and scallops in Old Bay butter, and broccoli. To top it off and upon special request, Hannah made chocolate-covered strawberry cupcakes! A special thanks to Katie Grace for joining us for a day of celebration!! Truly blessed life in spite of current struggles/tragedy. Tomorrow we pack for her move to law school. I love you all!!!
