KP Government sets to hold strategic dialogue moot in Islamabad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is set to take stock of development policy implementation in a high level moot scheduled tomorrow in Islamabad. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Mr. Pervez Khattak will chair the moot. The meeting, among others, will be attended by bilateral and multilateral development partners namely DFID, World Bank, ADB, USAID, Canada, EU, JICA, Germany and UN Agencies. Mr. Shahram Khan Tarakai Senior Minister Health and ST& IT, Mr. Inayatullah Khan Senior Minister for LG&RD Mr. Muhammad Atif Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education, Mr. Mushtaq Ghani, Minister for Information and Higher Education and Mr. Muzaffar Said Advocate Minister for Finance. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa embarked on a reform programme that shifts the focus of development from brick and mater to making government accountable, transparent and uprising people’s life. High Level Dialogue aims at communicating the reform agenda so that development partners may follow the vision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in an integrated manner. The Strategic Development Partnership Programme (SDPF) lays down a solid foundation for aligning the donor financial assistance with the country policies and priorities as well as country system. The government has formulated Integrated Development Strategy (IDS). The IDS comprehensively articulates the strategic objectives of SDPF by elaborating sector plans thereby identifying initiatives/tasks to be undertaken in various sectors of the government. The IDS provides a roadmap for operationalising the transformational reforms agenda through a consistent and robust approach for creating linkages amongst the sector strategies. fatima senior
