Bittersweet.... how do you reconcile the joy of being part of this incredible family with the gaping hole left by her absence? As I was leaving the church today (after the wonderful meal prepared for us) my first instinct was to find Grandma, tell her - I love her and say good bye. But she wasnt there. I felt so sad for a moment. Then I realized, the comfort, security and unconditional love I have always known from Grandma lives on through the lives of my Aunts, Uncles, cousins, (and all the super adorable cousin-kids and so on) I want to thank all of you, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, second cousins, family friends and folks who wish you were Lamb!! You are all a true blessing and I am so happy & proud to be Team Lamb Grandma, Instead of good bye, Ill say.... See you later! I love you! (And I know you made that apple butter just for me - you can explain to Roger later)
