Biz Markie turns 50 today WHTAS TOUR FAVORITE BIZ SONG? Biz Markie is a rapper, DJ, comedian, actor, reality television personality and commercial spokesperson. Hes also known for his beat-boxing, which he used to get into the game in the early 80s, rapping with MC Shan and Roxanne Shante. Biz Markies biggest hit, Just a Friend, dropped in 1989. More recently, hes been doing commercial spots, hes been featured on Nick Cannons Wildn Out, and he opened for Chris Rock on tour. In 2013, Markie was on tour with the Yo Gabba Gabba live show and guest starred in the Spongebob Squarepants episode Kenny the Cat.
