Bizarre... attempted most of yesterday to resolve what I thought was something simple (Barclays!) and it was neither simple nor quick. 2 visits to branch (waste of hours) and nothing resolved. Fuming. Got far more helpful person on phone this morning (despite trying twice this way before across 2 weeks and not getting anywhere) all I was attempting to get from the phone banking today was the information of WHO could help me and WHERE they may be located... little man on end of phone (difficult accent) was sure he could! I was cynical but pressed ahead knowing I had been round this block too many times in last couple of weeks. Lo and behold... in the traditions of Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, he achieved what no one else has managed across the entire farce! Not only did he resolve my issues but then kindly put me through to someone who would also help the online glitch being suffered. 15 minutes later everything is resolved and I am unsure what the last 2 weeks and yesterdays waste of effort, time and energy were about!
