Black History is real and comment thus: At the beginning of European Entry into Africa in mid-15th century, Africa was at par in development with the Iberian peninsula. Most of Europe was backward and majority ate locusts and swarms...poor, used public toilets; lived in mud houses, with gutters running through houses as they shared their holes with rats as evident by their bubonic plaque that decimated their populations: But the cold climate had led the Europeans to discover fire and iron ore, used to build armoury and boats that were to change their destinies, whilst we remained in our idyllic state forever From the opulence and ostentation of the old kingdoms of West Africa - with Mansa Musa showing off his wealth in pure gold, the Europeans turned to look for an Eldorado. on their trips to the Far east via Black Africa They by chance came to Elmina - The Mine. The Portuguese called it Gold Mine because of Gold Ornaments the Chiefs wore to meet them. The poor sailors had never seen so much wealth, and thought they have landed on a mine, not knowing its a fishing village that trade in salt and fish for gold from the hinterland: Ten years later, the same Europeans discovered Latin America and everything changed: The silver and gold and arable lands were a lot more than in Africa. Asiento was signed between the Spanish Conquistadores and the European traders for Black African slaves to work in these encommendaros and hacendaros and the rest is history. Now, as a historian my contribution is simple: European Nations and America and Latin America must take steps to repay BILLIONS of Dollars to West Africa, especially Ghana and Black Communities in Caribbean, Latin and North America... This is due to the real human and material resources lost by all the aggressive exploitation of these gun-wielding Europeans. They have the records of all the gold, diamond bauxite, cobalt, iron and every resource they took from Africa. My Galamsey friends tell me they sometimes travel underground for miles looking for gold and wherever they go they see that the white man has been there. They raked the earth for the gold we could have depended on for our economic survival. They took over 40 Million of Black Africa between the period of 1534 to 1745 to work for them free of charge amidst cruelty that led to psychosis passed on to many of their children. Every important resource of Africa was taken away by Europeans with the Dutch as the worst offenders. Black Africans created all the wealth of this world with their sweat and human talent. They worked in the sun with rudimentary tools in dangerous forests and jungles of wild animals who killed them in thousands. Our Black relations bust their flesh to mine for silver gold and other resources to build Europe and then America. The energy and strength wasted by Black people was unpaid. They were forced to work at the point of gun and was very difficult for so many of them. They had to survive on maize and offal of pigs. They laboured and laboured to build the capital that has since been recycled in the worlds fiscal system Black Africa lost a lot stretching for centuries with the Continent partitioned among these thieving European Nations. Today our coastal line is empty of ships; but in the 15th to 19th century, our coastline was full of ships from European Nations, coming in to carry every item they need - cola, oil palm, cocoa, coffee, sugar cane,Historic gold, manganese. cobalt and so many others all listed in the International Historical Statistics Book. Its there, the data. Europeans took so much from Africa and wonder why they know this truth but do not want to repay these: These resources should have been used to develop Africa. It was God given and natural just as God or Nature gave them their own. They protected their resources and used the power of the GUN to terrorise and push us into position of total submission where they exploited us to the full. In the past our leaders were merely agitators and lacked data to defend our cause: But now due to the computer age we can easily calculate our losses with empirical data stored in their own archival records. We must have real men and women of immense intellect like the young man in this film to calculate these immense colossal losses and demand its repayment. We can use some of these reparations to rebuild broken societies and create jobs in black communities. At the moment, we are back to another round of Black decimation as White Western Europe is overran by white Eastern Europeans who will be given all the menial jobs by their white cousins who never will like a black skinned man for reasons beyond human understanding. These same Western Europeans had lived amongst us to have children and educate their children and died among us but have conveniently forgotten they just Black Africa just 50 years ago. It is shocking. Each of these Forts and Castles on our coast was built by each European country where they operated from to abuse our resources Black people used to
