Black middle class is highly taxed in South Africa. I believe to be one, am taxed at 38%, surely now this is criminal!!! We have just under 4,5million tax payers, yet the population is 54million official figures, and add 10million our afcrican bothers and sisters who have no medical aid nor decent job to sustain their stay in South Africa, except the refugee status. 16million of the population depends on state grant... Theres no incentive for me to aspire for higher earning or a senior or executive position. The more I earn, the higher my PAYE. May I add, where ever I decide to but, u still pay VAT at 14%. In reality, my tax per R1 earned is 52%. Why I was born in Africa is a reason why I need to see my god b4 I die!!!
