Blanket Donation Drive Initiative by Team CA Connect India Hello everyone, in case if you missed it, this is to inform you that not very long ago, we ran “Donate a Blanket Drive” in which we promised that we will donate minimum 100 Blankets to the needy and the poor people who are not having shelter and who have to beat chilling winters with few clothes and coverings. Though we got a bit late but kept our promise and last night we went out to accomplish our mission. It was such a great feeling. Covering those people who were sleeping without blankets or not so warmer blankets, was one of the best things that we have ever done. We were 3 members of CA Connect India- Me, Anmol Garg, Abhishek Kaushik. And we covered almost all the major areas of Faridabad. Though earlier we had plans to visit Delhi too, but realizing the conditions of the Faridabad, we planned to start it from Faridabad and then move towards Delhi. So the major areas we covered includes the “Railway Station- Faridabad, the Mathura Road (as some people were sleeping on the footpath so we silently went and covered them with the blankets) and some areas of Sector 16 too.” We have donated around 50 blankets. And still left with 60 more. So we will try to donate all the blankets in a day or so, so that we can bring smile to many faces who sleep daily without a quilt and who live in fear of death.
