Blast from the past: My sisters and I had completely different mothers (in spite of the fact that the same woman was filling the role for all of us.) Case in point, MY mother humiliated me by coming to my grade school EVERY week to volunteer in Ms. Hellstroms classroom. I tolerated Mrs. Carters visits (what choice did I have?!) My little sister Rachelles mother also volunteered in the same 4th grade classroom. However, THAT woman was greeted with her very own daughter running down the hall to greet her with a very enthusiastic hug crying Mama! Mama! Yeah . . . no wonder I wasnt my mothers fave. In my defense . . . she INSISTED on showing up knowing how distasteful I found her presence. LOL!
