Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits... (Psalms 103:1, 2) Today, God blessed me to complete 10 Years of my stay in the United Arab Emirates. At this moment, I would like to recollect the good things that God has done for me in my life. I had resigned my Job from St. John’s International School, Chennai on May 2002, with the intention of coming to the Gulf. But I had to stay jobless for more than 1 year for this reason. All paths were closed in one or another way. Lots of questions were raised by my kith & kin. I also asked the Lord, why my prayers were left unanswered. I tried my best in all ways, but in vain. I was told that there was no vacancy for IT in the Gulf. An intimate friend told me why not try to the gulf for a visit. So I approached a Travel agency. I got a 90 days Visit Visa and hence I landed Dubai, on August 14, 2003. I expected people holding a reputed post would help me out, but God taught me a lesson ; It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man (Psalms 118:8). But on the 80th day of my stay in the UAE, I met a company manager of Jebel Ali Free Zone with the reference of my neighbour, professionally a Carpenter. Then on, I got an Employment Visa on the 90th day and re entered the UAE on that same day. God can complete His work even at the 4th watch of the night (last moment). (Matthew 14:25) While I exited UAE, to Muscat to change my Visa God spoke to me through the scriptures. In John 1:48, Jesus told to Nathanael “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you." I was encouraged by this quote that God did see me and my situation. God planted me to a good & loving Church- Bethel IPC, Dubai. Their prayers & support help me lot. Thanks for Pr. Gerzim P. John, Br. Benny, Br. Lealson Koshy who supported me financially while I was in a crucial condition, Br. Thomachayan who takes me every Friday to Church, Br. Joy Dubal for his love etc, and my Loving Cousin, Br. Sajan who accommodated me to his Flat. In mid of 2004, I got a marriage alliance from UAE, and our marriage was on February 3rd 2005. From then on I got a chance to engage in God’s Ministry, because my father-in-law was a Pastor. In the year 2005, I moved to a Company in SAIF Zone-Sharjah, after that moved to 2 more company’s in SAIF Zone. In 2006, i got a golden opportunity to study the Word of God, in Gilgal Bible College, Sharjah, hence forth got a part of Ministry, as Pastor of Church of God, Ajman. In 2007 we were blessed with a baby girl – Sophia. In 2008 I was Ordained as a Pastor from Church of God, under the blessings of Rev. K.O Mathew. In 2010 my job was disturbed as a consequence of financial crises. But with the help of a good man, Samuel achayan I started a new company with Br. Binu Raj in Sharjah SAIF Zone and named it, “Grace Computers”. This was like a vision come true which I carried with me since 1999. In 2010, we were tied with a Ministry - Bethanya Prayer Garden, Mavelikkara, Kerala and Servants of God, Pr. Sajan Mathew & Pr. James Koshy. In 2011, November 15, I lost my Loving Father. His Prayer and support encouraged me a lot. In 2013 with the help of an Arab Local person, we started another Company “Grace Solutions”. These past 10 Years I went through lots of trough and crest in my Life. But I can say clearly that God is good to me. At this moment I hum a song “In His time, in His time...
