Blessed & Deep day today with old friends Marcy DePina, Val Afrika, Chachi Carvalho going to Tarafal. Great company from old friends & new friends from the Atlantic Music Expo. Along the journey we stopped at the museum for the Concentration Camps, deep emotional energy there. The portuguese regime operated a concentration camp for jewish & non converters, criminals, and political activist in liberation movements in Cabo Verde, Angola, & Guinea from 1931-1975. I remember Movimentu Shokanti teaching me about it was deep energy being in the space of so much suffering. I pray that the energy transforms and the Great Spirit brings peace to all whom endured torture, death, and imprisonment. And I pray that all that need strength in our journey, challenges, and work for spiritual, economic, and political liberation from the memory of what those before us endure in the name of our childrens children.
