Blindly following for convenience sake! I have laughed watching the reality (not) show of Mountain Men Monsters on Destination America Channel. So far they have gone after A 850 pound Wolfman, 1000 Pound Grassman, Devil Dogs, a Supernatural Mothman and next week they go after the Lizard Demon man. It is a ridicules series that uses supposable Appalachian Mountain Men that represent every stereotypical ideal of a Redneck. It is only more laughable by these supposable creatures that always seemed to just stay out of focus (when all other pixels are perfect) or some glowing eyes at night of an elk, deer, bear, coyote or sounds of a squirrel or owl. What’s interesting about this ridiculous reality TV show are two things: 1. The blinding follow the idea instead of the real facts in order to make the situation correct no matter the outcome. 2. They make every worldly show to a false link to the supernatural. We as Christians are to always question our actions and make sure they line up with the True Word of God. If not then may I suggest you might be following another supernatural being desires for you? Also, we do need to understand there is a natural world and a supernatural universe. Yes we live in a world of science but real science can all be verified by real research in His Word and past history. Quite often very intelligent people make their theories match the desired outcome and students often follow blindly instead of matching the evidence to the Only Known Truth! Possible some progressive theorists are really more like the TV show rednecks than they think. They might just be wearing a different costume in public but still present the same comical entertainment. Sometimes I wonder if God views at our actions with the same “how ridiculous” thought.
