My title represents the first words I heard on turning the news on T.V.news this morning (21st.Oct) they were enunciated from the mouth of D.Cameron.What is more, during the morning various Coalition spokespersons made an assortment of supportive points based on his theme. One of these “MOUTHPIECES” announced that “this will mean thousands of jobs for the people of the U.K.(????).My response to this statement is one of ambiguity, whilst realizing that the obvious bulk of these jobs will be supplied from the English construction labour force. It will offer an opportunity for possibly hundreds of Scottish building workers. The negative factor is quite apparent; the scenario will represent a furtherance of draining of Scotland’s valuable workforce of skilled artisans. Of course this position is not unique, as for “GENERATIONS” Scots have had to disrupt their lifestyle by migrating in a direction south to seek work in an economy which will virtually guarantee them an alternative to the “DOLE” On hearing this “MANTRA” constantly repeated during the morning (I was relieved to go shopping in Chester with Agnes and Elaine in the afternoon).the consequences were dire for me; as I suffered from a dreadful nightmare last night, as I will explain…… Fast forward to the year 2015 the month of July, post Wasteminster election. The Conservative Party had been elected with a massive overall majority. The voters of “Middle England” in a mood of total disillusionment with the “Hangers-on of the Lib/Dems”with their constant carping against the right-wing policies of the Tories, they were also at odds with the lurch to the left by “RED ED” The imagined threat fromU.K.I.P.had not materialized. In Scotland, recovering from the shock of the “NO “vote in the referendum, the state of politics could only be described as shambolic. However at the end of the day the results were total annihilation of the Lib/DemsParty, with the Tories winning most of their seats. The Tories had also made inroads into the Labour Party marginals, the result being a majority of Scottish seats held by the Tories. As if this was not bad enough, the Tories revealed, what had been in their plans prior to this election. With their vast majority they felt free to publicize a document they had been discussing “SECRETLY”with top Civil Servant Mandarins, not even their Lib/Dem partners in Government were aware of its existence. The subject matter was the security of future electricity and gas supplies for the U.K.with emphasis on the Scottish situation. The document even aroused the wrath of the anti independence media in Scotland, they even headlined it “SON of GAVIN McCRONE..The contents were revealed by D.Cameron standing on the threshold to number 10, as follows…….”On behalf of Her Majesty’s Government I am happy to announce the following measures, with the full support of our colleagues fro Scotland, we will enact legislation at the earliest date for a transfer of waters in the Clyde Estuary to control by this Parliament. He just stood back and watched the events unfold. The end to my saga could not be more thoroughly coincidental, the very infinitesimal fraction of a second, as I went through the action of pulling the trigger, the door to our bedroom closed with a tremendous “BANG” it turned out that we had left a window open and a through draught from a tremendous gale outside was the cause of the “EXPLOSION” Obviously this startled me into wakefulness. Sure enough when turning on T.V...The first person I envisaged was “GUESS WHO”??????? SAOR ALBA. DAVID. . .
