Bloomingfoods has released a statement in response to our efforts to form a union. We sincerely hope that the Board of Directors is in fact committed to a respectful dialogue. However this statement is not an accurate representation of their actions so far. We want a union because that guarantees us a voice on the job, fair consistent policies, and a role in making Bloomingfoods a better place to work and shop. Come out to the rally tomorrow and the Board meeting afterwards to interact with employees and member-owners.
