Blown away by the lovely lovely words of Emma our beautiful bride on Feb 15th this year, this was such an incredible wedding held on Petes family farm here in the Bay. Such an AMAZING couple and AMAZING families. I didnt want it to end ! x wishing them all the happiness as Mr and Mrs Spall xox I just want to say the hugest thank you to Bex for everything she did for us in organising our recent wedding. The decision to organise my wedding on a family farm all the way from Christchurch may not have been the easiest wedding option, but thanks to Bex and her stellar work, our special day went by without a single hitch. Right from the beginning Bex was full of great ideas, and always had a solution for any problem that came up (of which there were a fair few, trying to turn a farm into a suitable wedding venue!). Everyone she recommended was fantastic, and when planning an event such as a wedding, especially as someone who was organising a wedding from afar, this was indispensable advice when choosing appropriate vendors During the lead up to the big day Bex was at the farm every day directing people, moving furniture, setting the tables and generally keeping everybody calm. She truly went over and above her duty and her reassurance and expertise helped keep me from having numerous meltdowns. On the day itself Bex was invaluable in making sure everything went smoothly (I didn’t have to worry about anything that perhaps didn’t go to plan - it was all sorted before I even noticed!) and stayed until midnight making sure everything was under control. Because of her my big day was extremely relaxing and not stressful at all - I feel so lucky I got to just enjoy my day and not have to worry about what was happening logistics-wise! Her staff were also fantastic - very professional, friendly, polite, extremely efficient, and they also stayed after all the guests had left to clear up the marquee. On top of all of this, on a personal level, Bex was an absolute pleasure to work with - she is always calm, always happy and generally a pleasure to be around. Both of our families are still raving about how wonderful Bex was. I’m sure that without Bex the whole experience would have been completely different (ie. stressful!) I truly could not recommend her highly enough to any future bride or anyone needing an event planner. Forever grateful, Emma and Pete Spall (and the whole Carter/Spall families!)
