Blue Lake Public Radio JOB LISTING Classical Music Radio Host - Traffic Manager Blue Lake Public Radio has an opening for a Classical Music Radio Host with additional Traffic management responsibilities. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of Classical Music and a working knowledge of Classical artists, recordings, and repertoire. Applicants must be highly organized, precise, able to meet deadlines, and function independently. The person we are looking for will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Duties include hosting a daily Radio program, producing the daily program log, providing information necessary for billing, managing our Day Sponsor information and on-air underwriting copy, and maintaining contact with music suppliers. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, on-air experience, extensive knowledge of Classical Music, computer competency, and the ability to work well with others. This position also requires non-standard work hours from time to time. Blue Lake Public Radio is a Classical Music, Jazz, and National Public Radio (NPR) station licensed to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, a non-profit summer camp providing instruction in music, art, dance, and theatre to young people from around the world.
