Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley, WV Drema Sue Pack After battling diabetes for 40 years and trying to recover from a devastating stroke that accrued during her back surgery in late of 2012; Drema Sue Pack of Fitzpatrick passed away on January 21, 2014. Drema was born in Amigo, WV. Being the 12th of 13 children, of Earl and Effie Fay Johnson ;her sibling brothers and sisters where Elwood, Steve, Ramona, Leona, Johnie, Shelby, Zivia, Shelia, Monty, David, Delano, and surviving brother Gerald Johnson . After her family moved to Fitzpatrick, now known as the old Johnson farm on Raleigh Ridge, Drema graduated from Woodrow Wilson to go on and marry her long time childhood sweetheart Glen Pack. They went on to have 2 boys James and John. Which gave her 3 grandchildren, James, Kimberly, Shaun and 2 great grandchildren Josh and Jasmine. Drema was a very well loved and respected woman. Who believed in family values, honesty and doing what was right. This was a trait that was admired by all her family and friends. Drema found passion in helping people, her brothers and oldest son being veterans; she worked 25 years for the Department of West Virginia of Veterans Affairs. She strived everyday to find help for the Veterans and their spouses of our area, of all wars. She was very well respected by the local Veterans. Her hobbies where motorcycle riding, golfing, and her love of bowling. She was even a great hunter. There was nothing she felt she could not do or was afraid to try. Drema was loved by her family and friends. She will be missed dearly. This day will be remembered as a day of great loss. To those who where lucky enough to have had the chance to meet such a beautiful woman. She was someone who tried to finish the day with a smile. No matter how bad or tragic that the Lord laid in her path. As she would ask, Lord forgive them, for which they do not know what they do. God bless them all. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family Saturday from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
